MOHUN BAGAN V/S ONGC--------PREVIEW

With just 2 points from 13 games, Mohun Bagan is facing a very serious threat of relegation. In this situation, Mohun Bagan will take on O.N.G.C. at Kalyani Stadium, tomorrow.

The Mariners will start tomorrow's match under immense pressure. They need to win this match to boost their extremely faint hopes of survival in the I-League. But, it won't be easy. ONGC is in great form, they have not lost in the last 6 matches, since former Mohun Bagan coach, Santosh Kashyap took their charge. The fact that Santosh Kashyap, knows this current Mohun Bagan team inside-out, will also be a cause for concern. Another bad news for the Mariners is that their play-maker, Quinton Jacobs has sustained a groin-injury, and hasn't trained yesterday. Mohun Bagan's coach, Karim Bencharifa, said "Quinton is better now", but kept a suspense about whether he will be able to play in Friday's encounter.

The only good news for Mohun Bagan is that their skipper, Odafa Okolie will be returning to action in this game, after missing out on 3 matches, due to suspension. His inclusion will greatly strengthen the attack of Mohun Bagan, which struggled to score(1 goal in 3 matches), in his absence in the last 3 matches. It will be interesting to see what kind of combination Odafa develops with Tolgay. The Tolgay-Odafa pair has only played 4 competitive matches(2 in the I-League), and in those matches, when ONGC's current coach, Santosh Kashyap was in charge, the pair failed to deliver.
